Well, we're back from Belize! Got back around midnight last night and are taking the day to relax and unpack before we go back to work tomorrow and start looking at houses and flats. things. I don't know what to say about our trip other than it was bloody brilliant. I mean, as much as I missed our mates back here... there was something pretty wicked about lounging around on a beach all day and not worrying about anything that was pretty bloody appealing. That was my favourite part anyway. I think Hermione got way more excited about hiking around the Mayan ruins. She bought loads of books from all the shops all about them and it was kind of cool that I hardly had to listen to a tour guide, because she'd read up on each destination before we got there and tell me all about it along the way. It was pretty cute. She knew what I'd be interested in and all. The boats were pretty brilliant too, I've never been sailing or anything before. It was funny, Hermione read up on all of that too, but when we actually got on the boat
Anyway - I'll shove off, as I know what you all really want: pictures! I just have the ones from the Muggle camera Mione brought, still waiting for the wedding photos and the others to be developed.

So, I haven't written in awhile, which is rubbish, but I've either been working, eating, sleeping, or preparing for the wedding lately. Two weeks from today, I'll be a bloody husband. How brilliant is that?
It's been hell and back to get ready for though - thank Merlin for Parvati and Hermione or I'd probably only be able to throw together a drunken party with a pronouncement somewhere in the middle of it. It'll be much more classy this way. My tuxedo robes aren't even that uncomfortable. Well, for the short amount of time I've worn them so far. Luckily, the night of they'll come off pretty quick I'm going to be taking less hours in the next couple weeks to spend more time on the wedding and stuff, but I know Calliope and the rest of the Lane's force will have things covered. Then I'll have to work an arseload of extra hours when I get back to make up for the honeymoon, but I think it'll be worth it.
I almost don't want to talk about wedding stuff anymore because it's ALL I'VE DONE, but I don't want Hermione to get the wrong impression It's been exhausting, though - can't wait to just be married. Is it like this for everyone when they're getting ready for a wedding? You don't all have Hermione being obsessive about it, but Seems like it would be.

All right - just to set the record straight. Hermione's better at this but I wasn't forced into proposing to Hermione. Anyone who thinks I'm not ecstatic to be marrying the woman I've loved for half my life is really, really bloody stupid. Yeah it took me some time to be 'ready' for it, and yeah we've had our issues, but I know I've gotten whatever it was out of my system and we're probably getting married this summer because I can't wait for it.
As for Hermione's supposed ex, again. How fucking dumb are you people? And about the PHOTOS and the WITNESS ACCOUNTS. YEAH, we were arguing - want to know why? Because I booked us reservations so I could propose in Muggle London so we wouldn't have to DEAL with any of that shite and suddenly there it all was right as we're trying to get into the door. And press, you need to get some better Muggle clothing, because I think the Muggles thought we had a troupe of clowns after us. But yeah, I was nervous as all hell because who isn't and so things weren't going the smoothest. But did anyone tell you about the rest of the bloody night? AFTER I asked and after she said yes and cried and loved the ring and and we were happy? And have been pretty bloody happy since.
No. No one cares about that tripe because they apparently want us to be another controversial couple in the media, especially because we're probably a lot more interesting than all this elitist arranged marriage rubbish they were reporting on the day before. It never ends. And it won't. I've been dealing with it since the sodding war's been over and I've just learned there's nothing I can do and I'm going to deal with it because that's what I have to do, but your not going to ruin this for me 'witnesses' or 'sources' or 'ex'.
So PISS OFF.

Wow, so apparently all Hermione and I had to do to not get in the papers for once was get engaged out of love, rather than money or blood status. Easy enough! If I'd have known that I'd have started saving for that ring a lot sooner! I'm kidding, Mione. Sort of. Oh bollocks.
As for Malfoy living on the lane and being let out of prison? I FUCKING HATE IT. I can't say much that hasn't already been said. It's a load of bollocks and I for one, wouldn't mind if he just went back and rotted in there like the Unforgivable-casting prat, he is. I don't really care if the Ministry says they have a good reason, I haven't been taking anything they say at face value since the last time we were asked to we were being told that You-Know-Wh Voldemort wasn't back and that was a complete lie. Sorry for being SKEPTICAL.

Wedding plans are going all right! I mean, we've only done so much since it's been only a couple weeks, but I've decided I'm going to be the ultimate cake king of the wedding. We will have perfect cake. Perhaps multiple flavors... I wonder how many tiers they can do...

I TOLD ASKED HERMIONE GRANGER TO MARRY ME LAST NIGHT AND SHE SAID YES.
We had to tell the family tonight at dinner before I could announce it, and now we're going back to celebrating. But I thought you lot might like to know. Plus it's REALLY HARD not to laugh like a madman and tell the world tell people that stuff. So. There you have it.
